Welcome to Kernow Kennels, a trusted name in dog boarding based in the beautiful countryside of Cornwall. For dog owners looking for a safe, reliable, and caring place for their pets while they’re away, Kernow Kennels offers a home-from-home environment that puts your dog’s wellbeing at the heart of everything we do. Surrounded by rolling fields and peaceful landscapes, our kennels provide the perfect balance of calm, comfort, and stimulation for dogs of all breeds and temperaments.

At Kernow Kennels, we understand that leaving your dog can be a big decision. That’s why we strive to offer more than just a kennel — we provide a place where your dog will feel relaxed, cared for, and genuinely happy. Our facilities are purpose-built and maintained to the highest standards, with each kennel offering warmth, security, and space. All of our units are heated and cleaned daily, with individual indoor areas and access to outdoor runs. We also have large, secure exercise fields where dogs can run, explore, and enjoy supervised playtime.

As a fully licensed and council-approved business, you can have complete confidence in our professionalism and experience. Our team is passionate about dogs and committed to making sure each guest receives personal attention, affection, and care. Whether your dog is staying with us for a short weekend or a longer holiday, we tailor our care to meet their individual needs — from dietary requirements and medication to play preferences and exercise routines.

We welcome dogs of all types, including entire males and those who may need a little extra attention or have quirks in their behaviour. We believe every dog deserves understanding, patience, and expert handling. If your pet has specific needs or temperament issues, just let us know in advance, and we’ll ensure they receive the right care throughout their stay. Communication with owners is key, and we always encourage honest, open discussions about your dog’s personality and habits.

Located in Cornwall, Kernow Kennels is ideally situated for both local pet owners and holidaymakers needing temporary care for their dogs. Many of our clients return to us year after year, knowing their dogs are not only well looked after but truly enjoy their time here. We also offer optional extras such as grooming, washing, and nail clipping services, which can be booked alongside kennel stays or as separate appointments.

At Kernow Kennels, we don’t just care for dogs — we treat them like family. Our goal is to make sure every dog feels safe, content, and loved during their stay, giving you total peace of mind while you’re away. Whether you’re going on holiday, dealing with a last-minute emergency, or simply need trusted care for your pet, we’re here to help.
